A studio in Chepstow

Made to be kept.

Analogue Media is a studio in Chepstow making websites, apps and the quiet automation behind them, all built to be kept. Do pick something up. Everything here works, and some of it even makes a noise, though only if you ask nicely.

Websites, apps and tools.Made with care, built to last.

Thoughtful, original work for businesses of any size: shaped around your budget, built on the newest technology, and made to run for years rather than a season or two.

  1. Made to measure

Everything here is designed and built around the business it belongs to, from the typeface to the checkout, so it looks and works like nobody else's. Fresh ideas, made with real care, and entirely yours to keep.

  2. Sized to the budget

One person with a good idea or an organisation of thousands: a one-page site, a shop, an app or a product that takes payments. Each is shaped around what it has to do and what you would like to spend, and anything it does not need yet goes on a list for later, so every pound goes where it helps most.

  3. Built to last

The newest technology, chosen for how well it will wear: quick on any phone, secure from the start, and inexpensive to run for years. The staying power of the old kit, with all the speed of the new.

  4. Looked after

Launch day is only the beginning. Your site is kept up to date, secure and quick, month after month, so it keeps pace with you for years to come.

Some of it is loud. Some of it needs to be very quiet.

About me

Nice to meet you.

Analogue Media is me, Oliver Thompson, in Chepstow. I have spent twenty-one very happy years designing and building websites and automating the work around them, and these days I also help organisations large and small put automation and AI to good use. You deal with the person doing the work, from the first sketch on the back of an envelope to long after launch.

An about page usually gets one Polaroid: arms folded, gazing thoughtfully into the middle distance. This one gets the whole pack. It is a Saturday in 1985 that never happened, and each picture tips its hat to a film I have watched rather more often than is strictly healthy. Take the pictures, then turn them over. Old technology and new, getting on famously, which is really the whole idea.
